[Update] Maintenance is over. iPhoneCode is now using simple:press V5.01, but I’m not happy at all with this upgrade. I’ve posted a message in their forum regarding the bugs I’ve run into.

[Update 2] The forum is now working perfectly (well, it’s working even better than the old one) thanks to a very useful discussion with the guys at simple:press. Thank you !

J’ai réalisé l’application de La souris grise, média spécialiste des apps ludo-éducatives et des usages numériques des enfants.

LaSourisGrise, l’app, est conçue comme un guide permanent des applis francophones les plus intéressantes pour les enfants.

Deux modes de consultation des articles du site souris-grise.com :
1. Par âges. Les critiques d’applications sont réparties en quatre classes d’âges pour aiguiller la recherche : plus de 18 mois, 3/6 ans, 6/8 ans et 8/12 ans.
2. Par thèmes. Lire et écrire, Arts, Découverte du monde, Maths et logique, Langues, Sciences et nature et A la récré : grâce à ce classement thématique, vous repérez rapidement les applis qui vous intéressent et vous en consultez la critique.
La liste des « Applis d’Or ». Le label Appli d’Or est décerné aux applis les plus pertinentes par un comité indépendant de parents testeurs et de professionnels de l’enfance, de l’éducation et du jeu vidéo (une première liste complète d’Applis d’Or sera annoncée en juin 2012).
Les conseils aux parents. Montrer une appli à un enfant, est-ce dangereux, utile, pertinent ? La Souris grise vous aide à vous forger un avis sur les outils tactiles.

Update available on the 20/02/12. DO NOT UPDATE.
There is a major bug : you can’t select days in this version. No data is damaged, and the display is still possible but you can’t modify anything.
1.41 was sent in the evening to Apple. I cross my fingers for a quick release.

Why is iSort V4 taking so long ?

Some people are beginning to worry, to call iSort V4 a vaporware, and to wonder about the future.

I reassure you, I’ve not quit working on iSort, I’ve just decided to take my time, because I’ve started feeling that iSort is, in a way, at a crossroad, and could become a very hard to use, complicated software without a proper thinking.

So I thought a lot, on how to improve the existing, and how to integrate the new features in the best and easier to use possible way.

iSort V4 will be the biggest update since V1, so, please, be a little more patient.
