I asked a translation company to deal with the the iSort’s documentation : it should be available next wednesday or thursday.

One year already ! Tarots has been available on the App Store on july 23, 2008, followed by Judo on july 26.

A busy week kept me from annoucing a new application available in the App Store.

Qiblih is, in the Bahá’í Faith, the direction that should be faced during prayers.
It points to the Shrine of Bahá’u'lláh, near `Akká.

It’s a first, with your Iphone, you can get the right heading. With an Iphone 3GS and its integrated compass, it’s very convenient.

It runs also on Iphones 3G / Ipod Touch but then you need a real compass.

iSort 1.42 will be available on the App Store soon. This version fixes all the bugs reported.

iSort 1.41 has just been validated by Apple. It should be available in the App Store in a few hours. Here is what’s new :

Fully compatible with iPhone OS 3
Bug fixes
Direct access to iSort pictures

New pictures list display, à la “Cover Flow”

New telephone, web and mail icons at Apple’s demand, for copyright reasons.

New fields management icon, at Apple’s demand, to conform to the iPhone Human Interface Guidelines.

iSort 1.41 doc will be available in french this week-end, and in english in a few weeks.

I’ve just received a mail from Apple, they report a bug and ask me to change a few things in the app. Nothing serious, I will send an up to date version of iSort 1.41 in a few hours, but I’m afraid this will delay the availability of the app.

Today, the new iPhone OS 3.0 will be available. Unfortunately, I’ve sent iSort 1.41 to Apple only a few days ago (the road to hell is paved with good intentions, chasing bugs took me some time) you will encounter tree problems with iSort 1.4 :

• In editing mode, taping a text list will not show the picker, but the keyboard;
• In editing mode again, it is not possible to select a table item to see the record.
• In the web server screen, the “Bonjour” address (the second one, which looks like my-iphone:50000/index.html) is probably wrong. The IP address (the first one, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:50000/index.html) is good.

That’s it. Otherwise, iSort 1.4 works as expected.

iSort 1.41 is being reviewed and should be out shortly, sorry for the inconvenience.
