iPad

iSort is running well on the iPad simulator that comes with the new 3.2 SDK :)

iSort V2.02

I will send iSort V2.02 friday night.What’s new :

- Bug fixes

- Many optimisations

- New settings in text fields, date fields and table fields.

- New Time field

- Code-Bar reader : in text fields, just push the optional button on the right of the field to take a picture of the code-bar. Once recognized, the code is displayed in the field.

- In the main search field, push the button to take a picture of a code-bar; once recognized, iSort starts looking for the code in the base.

The code-bar recognition is performed by the open-source library ZBAR. It supports EAN-13/UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code.

- You can now import a CSV file on an existing base : this is not (yet) synchronisation, the existing records are deleted and replaced by the new ones from the CSV file. But the base structure is untouched.

- You can now “cast” the fields of a CSV file. I will tell more about that in a few days.

[UPDATE :] iSort has been sent to Apple.

Qiblah 1.30 / Qiblih 1.30

Available now with improved magnetic declination calculation for non-3GS Iphone and Ipod Touch.

EasySat 1.10

To get the job done, it’s now easier :

  • 3GS owners can now use the app for orientation. Turn following the red or green arrows to find the satellite.
  • For the rest of us, EasySat displays Magnetic Azimuth instead of Azimuth. Magnetic declination is included, you can now use the magnetic direction of your compass.

Happy new year !

I wish you a happy new year 2010 !

Holidays

I’m spending some days with my family, so I will not be as present on the site as usual. But I will come at least once a day.

I wish you a merry Christmas !

Interview in Mac4Ever

I’ve been interviewed by Mac4Ever (in french, however). The interview is here :

All those apps have been mistakenly removed from the app store on the 16th.

iSort V2.01 was sent tonight

Let’s hope the validation will be fast. This version fixes the huge bug of the english version of iSort, as well as all the other bugs reported here or in the forum. Thanks !
