I’ve created a new 4D sub-forum in the iSort forum, for all the questions about synchronization. I’ve pinned the message Configuration of 4D v12 databases for synchronization with iSort, it should be helpful.

Available since yesterday. Validation time is increasing (it was sent the 4th). It includes better graphics (enhanced for iPhone 4 retina display), iOs4 support, and context saving for all iPhones (thanks to user demand).

iSort V3 is out ! What’s new :

• Universal version for iPod/iPhone/iPad Data : The universal version was important to me, and it works very well. You don’t need to buy two iSorts if you own an iPhone and an iPad.
• Synchronization with 4D v12 : this will allow 4D developers to synchronize with iSort.
• High resolution pictures and icons on the iPhone 4 : this was a huge work, but iSort is very nice on an iPhone with Retina Display !
• Multitasking
• Performance enhancement : when you open a database, it opens instantaneously, and loads in the background. It continues loading even if you quit iSort, thanks to multitasking.

iSort V3 is an universal app, that means it runs on iPod/iPhone and iPad. Here is a video of iSort on an iPad.

This new release is a big update.

Now, salaat times are displayed for your current location with one among 10 different calculation methods.
Graphics have been improved and are available in high res for iPhone 4.
iOS4 compatibilty has been enhanced.

I’m finishing the next version of iSort, and I would like to know what is the iOS version of your iPod/iPhone/iPad ? Because with all the versions that are around these days (3.1.3, 3.2, 4.0) it’s hard to tell.

Version 1.12 is available right now with satellite database up to 2010/06/07. Every single one in orbit has been checked.

New on the store on the 19th, anAlfabeto is the spanish cousin of anAlphabet. Toddlers can play with the Spanish words and pronunciation.

We can describe it in another way :

Update on 2010/05/13 with a new voice : little girl. It’s not 100% acurate for reference but it’s charming

I’ve sent iSort V2.04 to Apple.

• New : PDF files are now supported in image fields, use the iSort built-in web server to import the files.
• New : You can now paste images in the picture fields
• New : You can now duplicate a record
• New : You can now move the GPS position.
• Improved zoom quality on pictures (for pictures imported after the v2.04 update)
• Complete management of internal images of iSort (with possible suppression)
• Displays “Yes” or “No” in the main list for Yes/No fields, instead of “1″ and “0″
• Displays the date in MM/DD/YYYY in the main list for the Date fields, instead of YYYY-MM-DD
• Added a button in the Table field to add a record in the linked database even if it’s empty
• Added screens to change the look of the time field
• Fixed a bug with lists in the advanced search
• Fixed a bug that saved the time in the calendar even if the option was unchecked
• Fixed the display bug with fields when the title was placed on the left
• Fixed a bug with the calculated fields
• Fixed a bug that sometimes crashed iSort when removing a field
